The UCLA Biomedical Artificial Intelligence Research Lab uses machine learning to understand health through the discovery of predictive computational phenotypes. Our lab is a joint program between the Departments of Radiology and Pathology & Laboratory Medicine and has affiliations with the Departments of Electrical & Computer Engineering and Bioengineering.

Team

We are faculty, staff, postdocs and students from technical and clinical backgrounds across the UCLA Schools of Engineering and Medicine.

Research

Machine learning in medicine requires an appreciation of data composition, complexities, and applications. Our goal is to use ML to improve health.

Publications

Our work has been featured in technical and clinical journals and conferences. Check out our list of publications for links to articles, PDF versions, and code.
